Noah's lion
My nieces and nephews are having 1st birthdays all over the place. This week it was little Noah's turn, and I made him this rather funny looking lion with a haircut.
Psst: Note to brother in Australia - your girls will be getting something made by me soon! Promise!

Thanks sis. We need some lions here to eat all the bush turkeys! Love Athol
How cute is he! My son is a Leo and I have a soft spot for lions now.

Oh my! That is adorable:) What a neat aunt you are!!
He's lovely!
you're a good aunty!!
He's a cutie:)
Love the colour choices! RRrrrr:)
I love your friendly lion. I made one a while back for my nephew - a blue, knitted lion. He had a lovely square head and a pink heart on his tummy. Unfortunately he got eaten by Pippin (my dog, not my nephew) before he was quite done.
What did you stuff your lion with? I've heard using dried beans works well. Untill you wash it. Then you may have a sprouting lion on your hands.
Lucky little Noah!
He's very handsome indeed!
P.S. It was good to meet you (albeit very briefly) at the market last Saturday, and great to finally see your beautiful work 'in the flesh'!
roar!
absolutly gorgeous!
Thanks, all! I really like making softies, and must make some more - it's fun!
Great to meet you too, Suzanne. Always good to put a face to a name. Hope you had a great trip.
